2009
Accelmed is founded by Uri Geiger with backing from Israeli healthcare entrepreneur Mori Arkin.
2011
Accelmed Ventures is launched with $100m and goes on to invest in 15 companies from pre-seed through Series A.
2016
Accelmed launches Accelmed Partners I, LP, a private equity fund focused on making control and growth investments in commercial-stage HealthTech companies. Accelmed Partners I, LP closes at $130m and later receives an additional $80m in co-investments from limited partners.
2020
Accelmed announces first closing of its second private equity fund, Accelmed Partners II, LP, and opens its first office in Miami, FL.
2021
Accelmed successfully closes its second private equity fund, Accelmed Partners II, LP, at the hard cap of $400 million, exceeding its original $300 million target.
